The Aunt’s House
We never met the Aunt, but we think we would have liked her. In our minds, she was a true British eccentric – stylish and witty, well-travelled and well loved. We adore this house, with its generous proportions, including a glorious eat-in kitchen and separate boot room for muddy wellies. We’ve added two bright, airy bedrooms in the eves, both with window seats, upping the total bedrooms to five, all of them en-suite, including a large, luxurious wet room (complete with a heated bench) in the master bath. There’s wallpaper galore and hand printed fabrics, design details that we feel speak to the elegant history of the house.
